Andreas Engesvik attended the University of Bergen, Norway, where he studied Art History. In 2000 he earned a Master’s Degree in Design at the National College of Art and Design in Oslo. In the same year he founded the company Norway Says, which he left in 2009 to open the design studio Andreas Engesvik in Oslo. His studio works in various fields of design, ranging from furniture and tableware to industrial design for various international clients such as Iittala, Muuto and Ligne Roset.
His works have been recognized internationally, winning the Red Dot Award, Wallpaper Design Award and the Bruno Mathsson Award.
At present Andreas Engesvik is working for the Scandinavian label Fogia.
